A client approached AML focus to solve a problem where third party ISOs were onboarding when undertaking face to face selling. Asking for a Merchant to perform an on the spot Liveness check, in this scenario, would be unnecessary and inappropriate.

Solution

After exploring all robust technical and auditable options with the client, we settled on providing an intelligent site declaration form, that records the exact location of the sales agent and the premises of the Merchant. An image of the location map and the exact coordinates are created in the background, and included in the underwriting pack, with no interaction needed by either the sales agent or the Merchant.
